About RoeRacing Mermaid or Triton LDP Complete [NOT IN STOCK, PRE ORDER ONLY]
Want to get started in LDP? Not sure what parts to buy? This is the RoeRacing Complete for you. The first of its kind: LDP (Long Distance Pumping) longboard ready to ride out of the box. We've gone to great lengths to build a complete that is ready for your tuning and pumping pleasure. This complete is a result of that work.
If you keep all of the parts of default configuration (just be sure to choose a flex rating for your weight!), we promise you'll have a great board straight out of the box.
Stock Set Up
This board was meticulously designed to be ready to ride out of the box! It is priced with a Khiro Big Bad Bushing Kit, Stoked Hardware Kit, and a Khiro Rail Riser Kit so you can build it up just for you. This board comes with everything you need to get started in LDP. For the stock wedging, the front and rear are set up using the included Khiro Hard Riser Pad, Khiro Hard Wedge, and a custom CNC Cindrich baseplate. The angled pads are placed atop the included 1/4th inch Khiro Hard Riser.
NOTICE: Though we do what we can to have this ready to ride out of the box, you MUST feel out your board before riding as wheelbite is a serious danger with these completes. If you have questions, contact us before riding. We want you safe and stoked!
Flex Ratings Chart
Light (under 165 lbs)
Medium (150-200 lbs)
Stiff (190-240 lbs)
*** Note the flex ratings for the Triton and the Mermaid are the same.
Triton vs. Mermaid
The Mermaid is the timeless classic. The Triton adds subtle updates to that classic shape. Though the build of the Mermaid has been updated, the same flex down the length of the board has been retained in both models. However, the Triton has a slightly different torsional flex pattern. With inlets at the hips and a more blunt nose, the Triton offers slightly more torsional flex and a slightly wider nose platform to lock in your front foot.
In summary, here are the differences between the two models. Use this as a guild for choosing which one you want.
- Slightly less torsional flex
- Flowing curve design (aesthetics)
- Slightly wider front foot platform
- Slightly more torsional flex
- Inlet cut design (aesthetics)
- Both Models
- Designed for performance LDP
- Identical specs (length, concave, etc)
- Same flex down the length of the board.
Can't decide between the two? Just go with the one that you like the look of more. Both decks are awesome and the subtle differences will only be noticed by a very experienced rider.
