Jatiboards
![]() |
Jati Boards unofficially started back in 2005. Jati Boards founder, Aldrian Harjati, started building longboards in his garage in 2005. After several years and many prototypes, he finally came up with boards that are noteworthy. First is the Akira. At 42" x 10.25" with an optional 31", 32" or 33" wheelbase and .5" drop, Akira is freeride machine. Next board is Ronin, Akira's drop through version. But the best was yet to come. As he became more involved with the local Atlanta longboarding scene, he decided that the best people to get information about how to make the ultimate longboard is none other than the guys he was skating with on the weekends. So, several napkins and few pizzas later, the Ninjati was born. Finally, in April 2010, Aldrian decided to make Jati Boards official. He hopes that Jati Boards become well known, not just for quality boards, but as a key supporter of the sport. Made in the USA, Jati Boards is a longboarder designed, operated, and owned business. |
