About BC Longboards: "BC Longboards got its unofficial start in early 2008 when they began experimenting with different materials for board construction. An ongoing chemistry and physics experiment, BC tested many minds, compounds, glues, resins, fibers, and woods. After a year in the lab, we have come up with a process that leaves us with a high performance, high energy board designed to carve bigger hills and push rider performance to its limits. From the fastest growing plant on earth to your skateboard, bamboo is BC’s choice of wood. When treated, bamboo forms a very hard wood which is both lightweight and exceptionally durable. Vertically laminated bamboo provides everlasting spring/elasticity and memory retention to our boards. BC Longboards hand builds every board with the care and precision often lost in today’s world of mass manufacturing." |
